What is this air duct cleaning business?

…And why do I need it?

Well, my friend, that is an excellent question.  Do you or anyone in your family suffer from allergies inside the home? Do you like clean air?  Well then, a comprehensive air duct cleaning is just the solution for you!  If you are like most people, you spend between 60 to 90 percent of your time indoors, whether it is at home, work, or at a shopping mall.

Bacteria, fungi, dust, and pet hair can build up in your air ducts over time, which not only restricts air flow but also blows all of that allergy triggering gunk back into your home.  Once your ducts are cleaned you’ll notice your allergies aren’t bugging you nearly as much.  Why? Because the triggers are no longer there in full force!  Duct cleanings aren’t something that need or should be done every six months, but more every three to five years.

Different companies do things slightly different when cleaning your air ducts, but the bottom line is they will thoroughly clean them (usually with a high powered vacuum or similar device) along with brushes to really scrub them clean.  This is not a twenty minute operation.  It normally takes about half the day or more, depending on the size of the home and how dirty the ducts are.  A disinfectant can then be used on the ducts to ensure bacteria doesn’t grow back quickly.

The benefits to getting your air ducts clean can be quite significant if you are an allergy or asthma sufferer or just have really dirty ducts.  We’ll come out to your home and give you a free estimate on your cleaning, so please give the Beloman a call. 618-BELOMAN or you can go through our website.  You can also keep up with us on Facebook and Twitter!
